How to install and activate the theme
Once you've downloaded the theme, enter your WordPress panel and go to Appearance → Themes → Add New.
Click Upload Theme to upload the zip file you've downloaded. Then click Install Now:
Click Activate to continue:
Go to Customization → License, paste your theme license key and click Activate:
Now you can adjust the theme settings to your needs and modify how your website looks like in the Customization area.
Menus and pages
Default pages and menus are already activated in your theme settings.
To create product categories, go to Products → Product Categories and select categories you want to Edit or create a new one. To create a subcategory, add its name and select the corresponding parent category. Click Add a new category.
Once your product categories are created, you can proceed with organizing your website menus. There are 3 of them available in the El Greco theme:
two menus (Company Info and Purchase) located in Footer
To manage them, go to Appearance → Menus and select a menu to make changes to or create a new one. Check the items which should be added to your menu in the left-hand sidebar.
Drag items to change their display order and move them to the right to make sub items. You can edit them by clicking the down arrow symbol.
To make sure you see all groups of items, click Screen Options at the top of the page and check groups you want to add to menu.
After you have finished editing your menu, check corresponding display location at the bottom of the page in Menu Settings. Click Save Menu.
Alternatively, you can use Manage with Live Preview at the top of the page to see changes on your website front-end as you make them.
To adjust theme customization settings to your needs and modify your website appearance, go to Customization.

In the General section you can edit some basic configuration settings:
upload your favicon
show discount badges on products
enable the LazyLoad option (Homepage, Category page and Single product page)
show star product rating (Homepage and Category page)
Customize your template colors:
You can add and edit scripts and styles in Head:
Upload your website logo and manage sticky header options:
Select your color settings or use the default ones:
You can modify the way your homepage looks like: show and edit H1 tag, change titles and their colors, adjust font size, manage rotation, etc.
Upload your slider images (you can use the same banner which is displayed on desktop for mobile version of your website, or add another image).
In the Most popular categories section, upload images for categories, give them a name and do the linking.
You can add your customer reviews in the Testimonials block. To enable rotation, use the toggle and add auto-rotation time.
Add a Homepage article above Footer.
Manage your single product page settings in the Single product tab:
Enable pre-selected variations
Add social share icons
Manage product information tabs
Cross-sell and show Recently viewed products
If necessary, replace the default payment icons under the Add to cart button with your own images.
In this tab you'll find a wide range of unique features that can give your store a huge rise in conversions.
Store features are displayed on Homepage and Single product page above Footer.
Add more social proof and urgency icons to your Single product page:
Shipping and Returns icons are shown above the Add to cart icon
Sales badge can be found next to product price
In stock badge is located near the Quantity option
'I recommend this product badge' will show up in your customer reviews.
Highlight your store benefits in a great visual way. This block will appear under the Add to cart button. Please note that Estimated Delivery Date is added autonatically.
Customer reviews is a powerful tool, so benefit from them by adding Trustpilot code.
Single product page additional information is added automatically below your product information in Product Details tab (every Single product page).

Activate the toggle to link checkout logo to Homepage:
Enable the Remove option in the order summary:
Manage the required Checkout fields by adjusting the toggles:
Show billing address if necessary:
Show Terms & Conditions checkbox on the last Checkout step to make sure your clients accept your website policy:
Use the default trust seals or upload your own to add credibility to your store:
Pick colors for the checkout buttons to meet your design objectives. Add your contact details and a link to a page that is important to your Checkout process.
Tell your customers more about your business: edit the About Us text so that it tells your company’s story and upload a background image.
Enable or disable the Our Core Values block:
Encourage your customers to keep in touch with you and benefit from telling more about your business partners:
Add a background image for your Thank you page. You can edit text which is shown to your client when a payment is complete or it failed and add conversion tracking scripts.
Add your email address and edit text displayed on the Contact Us page above your contact details:
To add your social media links, go to Social Media and fill in the appropriate fields:
Use the Show Facebook like box on Single product page switcher to display FB like box instead of social share icons.
Adjust your footer colors and edit Footer menu titles. Add your contact details, manage your payment methods icons and trust seals.
Enable subscription form to collect users’ emails:
Upload the blog logo and customize other blog settings:

Upload background image and edit the text the customers see when getting to 404 page:
Choose customer account colors and edit registration text that the customers see when creating an account:
To start live customization, go to Appearance → Customize or click the Customize button in the chosen active theme in Themes.
You'll see four tabs: Site Identity, Menus, Homepage Settings, and Additional CSS. Click the one that you need.
In the Site Identity tab, you can edit Site Title and Tagline. You can also upload Site Icon here.
Don't forget to click the Publish button to save your changes. If you click the blue gear button, you can set a required action for the Publish button (publish, save draft or schedule).
In Menus, you can edit the three El Greco menus, add a new one by clicking Create New Menu, and set Menu Locations.
In the Homepage Settings tab, you can choose what will be displayed on the homepage of your site: your latest prosts or a static page.
In Additional CSS, you can add your own CSS code to customize the appearance and layout of your site.
